Here you can download the source code, documentation,
and binaries for version 15 of the Mathomatic computer algebra system.

A C compiler is not required to run the following Mathomatic binaries:

Linux packages are actively maintained.
You can use your operating system's package manager to install Mathomatic
in most cases.
Thanks to all the individual port maintainers for porting and keeping the Mathomatic packages updated!

Mathomatic as a stand-alone, statically linked,
universal binary
for any x86 Linux computer;
extract it within a terminal emulator (shell window) by typing
"unzip mathomatic.zip", then run it by typing "./mathomatic"
to do symbolic mathematics!
Also available with readline functionality
from a third party.
Readline allows using the cursor keys.

The universal binary
for any version of Mac OS X, downloadable as a Mac disk image file
mac_mathomatic.dmg
or a ZIP file mac_mathomatic.zip;
open it, then double click on the icon named mathomatic
to run the interactive Mathomatic interpreter.
Runs best from the Mac Terminal application,
shown here with "set bold color" enabled.
There is a PAD file for distributors.

Mathomatic for the iPhone
is ported and developed by Ben Gotow.
Outdated and not free, but has a Graphical User Interface (GUI).
If you would like Mathomatic updated to the latest symbolic math engine and customized for the iPad,
please send Ben an encouraging message.

The free Mathomatic version 15.1.5 binary for Microsoft Windows
was created by
Gordon McKinney.
Download the 1 megabyte ZIP archive, extract all files,
and launch winam/mathomatic.exe to run Mathomatic.
